Many customers ask this questions frequently online. I can not quote our product to them one by one. There are so many kinds of crusher in our factory, such as mobile crushing and screening plant (it can be mounted jaw crusher, cone crusher, vertical shaft impact crusher ,impact crusher.), stationary crushing and screening plant, and other supporting machines. If you want a quote, but are unsure what type of crusher you need。Please provide the following information to us. We can provide most suitable design and then quote to you according to your detailed requirement. So please answer the following questions and we can design the machine lines to you according these :
1. Sand and gravel deposit or rock quarry?
2. Type of rock (granite, basalt, limestone, etc.)?
3. Average gradation (especially maximum size)?
4. What is the size ranges of final product do you want to make?
5. What percentage of each size range do you prefer to make?
6. How many tons per hour do you want to be able to process?

Gyradisc crusher operating at cost per ton of sand includes liners, maintenance and power draw. The liner cost is related to the abrasive characteristics of the material being crushed and the surface moisture. Average liner costs are between $.07 and $.09 per ton of sand. Proper maintenance, excluding liners, will result in costs not exceeding $.03 per ton. Power consumption will be in the area of 3 kwh per ton of sand.
Gyradisc sand – a better sand at less cost: Prior to the development of the Gyradisc crusher, manufactured sand was produced by rod mills, impact crushers and roll crushers. In comparing all these methods of sand production, with the Gyradisc crusher, they all fall short. Here’s why:
Rod mill – The rod mill is capable of producing fines, but the power and metal cost and the tendency to produce an excess of extreme fines are the principal factors that contribute to the relatively high final cost of rod mill sand.
Impact crushers – Impact crushers develop high wear rates when crushing abrasive materials and also normally create an excess of extreme fines. Most specifications permit only 2 to 10 percent passing a No. 100 sieve, any excess produced in this range must be removed.
Roll crushers – Roll crushers, on the other hand, have difficulty in producing a sufficient quantity of fines in the 30, 50 and 100 sieve sizes. Roll shell wear contributes to size control problems and develops high circulating loads.
