The design of a granite crushing plant is usually decided by several factors as follows
1) The hardness of granite;

In the above proposals, the main difference is the secondary crusher: using impact crusher, or using fineness jaw crusher (hydraulic impact crusher), or compound cone crusher.
Notice for the clients: If the local market has not request of the stone shape, users prefer to use fineness jaw crusher, or compound cone crusher as the secondary crusher. Because for high hardness stones such as granite stone, the quick wear parts cost of fineness jaw crusher/cone crusher is lower than that of impact crusher.
For jaw crusher and cone crusher, the working principle is plate pressing, so the percentage of stones with flaky shape, internal cracks is high.
For impact crusher, it has the functions of crushing and shaping, can make very good cubical shape; the end products are mainly used for highway, water conservancy, airport, civil construction etc. The market prices of stones made by impact crusher is higher than that by fineness jaw crusher or cone crusher; the quick wear parts cost of impact crusher is also high for high hardness stones.
If the market has request for the stone shape, and the users want to reduce the quick wear parts cost. Here we recommend firstly use primary jaw crusher + fineness jaw crusher/ cone crusher as the primary and secondary crushers, take the impact crusher as the tertiary crusher to shaping the stones. This proposal has been adopted by many users, and proved to be workable.

Granite is a very hard, crystalline, igneous rock primarily composed of feldspar, quartz, orthoclase or microcline accompanied by one or more dark minerals. It is visibly homogeneous in texture. It is the most common plutonic rock of the Earth's crust, forming by the cooling of magma (silicate melt) at depth. Granite is one of the most exclusive stones amongst all building stones. It is widely used as granite kitchen countertops, worktops, granite counter tops, table tops, flooring, etc. in the form of random slabs and tiles.
Granite quarry
Granite quarry is a pit or some open excavation from which granite is obtained. To obtain granite from a quarry digging, cutting or blasting process is used. This process of obtaining the stone is called quarrying. Once quarrying is done, the processing of granite starts.
Granite quarries are laid out based on the direction in which the granite will break the easiest, providing the maximum benefit that can be attained from the natural seams and structure. By using these natural seams, the maximum yield can be obtained from the quarry deposit, thus reducing the amount of stone produced that is not suitable for use as dimensional granite.
